Abstract
The article presents a new concept of a lamp-room s management regarding the manner of charging of miner s cap lamps and acquiring of their exploitation data. The analysis of requirements for such a system to be met has been performed and also the hazards have been pointed out that occur during designing of such a system. The practical implementation of this concept has also been presented on the example of the miners cap lamps monitoring and management system installed at several hard coal mines.
