Abstract
New methods of supervising main coal transportation processes are currently being devised due to the decline of employment in the mining industry and the necessity to increase the efficiency and reliability of technological equipment. Automation of mining processes including visual presentation systems based on fibre optic technology constitute the best solution for the still developing mining industry.
