Abstract
In the field of pig ironmaking process, operation malfunction is caused by both enlarging a blast furnace and increasing use of low quality ore. Thus, operation support systems predicting a blast furnace performance are demanded. On the other hand, the method of integrating many partial simulators for a complicated system in the consideration of interaction has been proposed. This paper presents Java-based integrated non-stationary blast furnace simulator that is constructed by applying the method to the partial simulators of the blast furnace. To construct the simulator, a partial non-stationary model is developed by using a stationary model as fundamental model. Moreover, the dynamic temperature in the blast furnace is calculated adequately by the simulator.
