Abstract
Paper deals with industrial applications of Laboratory of Rockwell Control systems that is located in the Department of Control and Measurement Instrumentation of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of the Brno University of Technology. First part of the paper is dedicated to presentation of the IIW/SW configuration of Laboratory and enumeration of Laboratory activities in education of student and professional courses for industry. In the second part of the contribution there are described advanced tests of soft - starter and AC drive for testing of electrical engines after seismic tests. Such activities create important part of Laboratory utilization as a link between university staff and students on one side and specialists from praxis on the other side in the field of common research, development and engineering works. The last part of the paper deals with outlook in an innovative project of laboratory activities.
