Abstract
⺠IEEE Std-1241 three-parameter sine fit full metrological characterization is presented. ⺠The upper bound of the amplitude estimation uncertainty is parameterized. ⺠Analytical results are found for the AWN case and then detailed for the AWGN case. ⺠Optimum, and sub-optimum, choice of the design parameters has been provided. ⺠Optimal choice amplitude estimator's frequency behavior is analytically described.
