Abstract
⺠The design of a speed soft sensor for an induction motor is presented. ⺠We detail in particular the validation step using automatic control theory. ⺠To obtain a complete validation of the sensor in the whole speed range, the model is modified. ⺠A powerful and simple tool is provided in order to ensure the validation. ⺠Several model modifications are recalled and using the proposed tool.
