Abstract
⺠Development of discrete sliding mode control using sliding surface as function of states and error. ⺠Use of Lyapunov approach for stability analysis. ⺠Applicable to higher order, oscillatory, integrating, unstable and non-minimum phase systems. ⺠The dynamics of the level system is identified. ⺠The simulation and experimental results show that desired tracking dynamics are achieved.
