Abstract
► Development of discrete sliding mode control using sliding surface as function of states and error. ► Use of Lyapunov approach for stability analysis. ► Applicable to higher order, oscillatory, integrating, unstable and non-minimum phase systems. ► The dynamics of the level system is identified. ► The simulation and experimental results show that desired tracking dynamics are achieved.
