Abstract
► An adaptive terminal sliding mode control is proposed for DC-DC buck converters. ► Proposed method assures finite time convergence of the system states to the origin. ► Adaptive feature of the method makes the sliding line dynamic during the load variations. ► Influence of the controller parameters on the performance of the system is studied. ► Simulation and experimental results show an improvement in the output voltage response.
