Abstract
► An industrial accumulator used in elastic web processing plant is modelled. ► The effect of some mechanical accumulator parameter variations are analyzed. ► Multi-model PI control strategy, adjusted with evolutionary algorithm, is presented. ► PI controllers are compared with multi-model H∞ controllers. ► Industrial accumulator simulation results are presented.
