Abstract
⺠The convex control synthesis problem for affine fuzzy systems is considered. ⺠A new technology is proposed to decouple the system matrix and the Lyapunov matrix. ⺠The derived stabilizability condition leads to less conservative LMI characterizations. ⺠The obtained controller design condition has much wider scope of the applicability.
