Abstract
In this paper, a measurement system applied to calibrate LF (low frequency) magnetic field meters is described. The mechanism of generating a calculable standard LF magnetic field basing on circular Helmholtz coils is explained, than the measurement system is designed. The self-designed major components are introduced and their properties have been analyzed, several techniques are considered to improve the performance of the system. The sources of standard uncertainty related to calibration are analyzed, and the expanded uncertainty at 100Â kHz is evaluated for example. In addition, the system is validated by comparing the calibration results with the results obtained by other laboratories.
