Abstract

Dehydrogenation of propane to propylene in the presence of CO2 over ITQ-2 and MCM-22 supported gallium oxide was investigated, and compared with that of HZSM-5 supported ones. ITQ-2 supported catalysts exhibit higher selectivity to propylene and better stability due to more open pore structures and lower amount of strong Brønsted acid sites. With the accumulation of ultrasonic treatment time for ITQ-2 supports, the activity reduced while the selectivity increased. Ga2O3/ITQ-2 with 2 h ultrasonic treatment has the best propylene yield of 15.1%.
