Abstract
This study proposes a novel squeeze-film air bearing based on near-field acoustic levitation technology. This paper presents a theoretical model that combines models for squeeze film and flexure pivot-tilting pads. Float characteristics of the bearing were theoretically and experimentally investigated.137
