Abstract
70The relationship between the deformation zone and rolling pressure is described. For ultra-thin strip rolling, if there is no plastic deformation at the entrance, there is no inlet plastic zone. Then, when the strip passes through the neutral zone, it will directly enter the exit elastic zone. At this time, the rolling pressure and deformation are symmetrically distributed. Consequently, for a given rolling technology, the premise of the plastic reduction of the strip is that there is an inlet plastic zone. If the length of an inlet plastic zone is zero, it means that the limiting producible thickness has been reached.
