Abstract
Finally, it was shown that it is not sufficient to use only one single crystal micropillar compression force-displacement curve for the calibration of the non-Schmid CPFE model. The predictions of the resulting model would be unreliable, and its accuracy highly dependent on the orientation of the micropillar chosen for calibration. However, when two mircopillar compression force-displacement curves were used for calibration, the model's predictions were consistently accurate. Using more than two curves for calibration did not result in significant improvements.
