Abstract
- Continuous permeability measurements were conducted on single-fractured carbonate rock.
- Brittle, elastic, and time dependent fracture response to pressure changes was distinguished.
- The steady state permeability method was evaluated by a numerical finite element model.
- The method is proven to be applicable for effective fracture apertures larger than 10 µm.
