Abstract
A novel hierarchically nanoporous SnO2@Fe2O3 0D/1D hybrid nanomaterial is synthesized via a facile and fast one pot bottom-up approach in a large scale for the first time and flexible poly(vinyl chloride) nanocomposites incorporated with this new hybrid shows enhanced thermal stability, flame retardancy and mechanical property, indicating that the as-prepared product has the great potential to completely replace current antimonial additives in PVC materials.188
