Abstract
119Fluorinated α-Fe2O3 is synthesized by hydrothermal method using Selectfluor⢠(F-TEDA) as an electrophilic source of fluorine. Surface modification with fluorine resulted in significant improvement in magnetic properties of α-Fe2O3 due to uncompensated surface spins.
