Abstract
In this article, we study the finite life span of the irrotational C1 non-vacuum solutions, for the compressible Euler equations in RN in fluid dynamics. We present the blowup results for the C1 solutions, for which the initial functional H(0)=â«RNxâ
u0dV, is sufficiently large. To partially complement the classical Sideris blowup results, F(0)=â«R3xâ
Ï0u0dV, (Sideris, 1985), our blowup conditions do not depend on the density Ï0.
