Abstract
Sodium (Na), Boron (B)-doped and Undoped Zirconium oxide (ZrO2) nanosphere by Liquid Phase Method (LPM) using water as precursor. The structural, morphological and optical properties of the (Na, B)-doped and undoped ZrO2 nano spheres were investigated by exploration of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HR-TEM), Ultraviolet-Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (UV-DRS) and Photoluminescence (PL) studies. The antibacterial activities of both Na, B-doped undoped ZrO2 nanosphere were also investigated. We highlight here the current research activities focused on the controlled synthesis to manipulate the shape, size and antibacterial activity is the topic of this article, with approaches elaborated for the Na, B-doped and Undoped ZrO2 nanosphere based materials.
