Abstract
The KdV6 equation is an integrable soliton equation. By using the bilinear Bäcklund transformation, we derive the one and two Riemann theta function periodic wave solutions of the KdV6 equation. The dynamical behaviors of the periodic wave solutions are analyzed by numerical simulations. Finally, we establish the relations between the periodic wave solutions and the soliton solutions.
