Abstract
We report analytically an electro-optically tuned non-critical phase-matched second harmonic generation of a diode pumped solid-state laser in LiNbO3 crystal at room temperature (25 °C).The direction of propagation of fundamental wave of 1064 nm is on x-y plane, making an angle of θ = 90° with z-axis and Ï = 33° with x-axis of the crystal. By applying an electric field of â7.87 kV/mm along z-axis of the crystal, ordinary and extra ordinary refractive indices of fundamental wave and second harmonic wave are matched to each other respectively. The calculated angular acceptance is 55.7 mrad mm1/2.
