Abstract
In the present investigation, a circular lattice PCF is designed with tellurite core and various optical properties such as confinement loss, effective mode area, dispersion and nonlinear coefficient are analyzed using COMSOL MultiPhysics. The proposed fiber gives very high nonlinearity with a maximum of 12,100 Wâ1 kmâ1 at 0.45 μm, ultra high negative dispersion and very low confinement loss for a wide range of wavelengths. High nonlinearity is suitable for super continuum generation. This fiber can also be used as a dispersion compensation fiber.
