Abstract
The reflective prediction model for frequency modulated screening prints based on Monte-Carlo method is proposed. Considering the properties of dot structures, paper and ink, photons propagation path in prints was simulated. After analyzing the statistical data of photons propagation, prediction model was established. The results showed that the simulated dots morphology was close to realistic printing condition and the reflective data obtained by the prediction models was approach to the measured one. With the help of this model, not only reflective data but also dot shape image can be got, which is a new way to control the quality of frequency modulated screening prints.
