Abstract
The problem of similar code sequences search in executable binary files is explored in this paper. Within the scope of the previously proposed original search method outlined in this paper the impact on its efficiency of several ways of the program's code initial description is investigated. The results of experimental researches of search efficiency for each of them are presented. The efficiency of the proposed method is also compared to known methods of similar code sequences search.
