Abstract
Evaluation of service life of complex-shaped hydraulic machine parts with stress concentrations is based on research on the stress-strained state by means of the finite element method. The principal stress gradient is calculated on the part where there is the highest stress. The detail fatigue limit is found on the basis of the Serensen and Kogaev's theory of fatigue failure similarity. A method for constructing a fatigue curve inclined branch with a given probability of failure is provided. The described method for evaluating the durability is used for comparative analysis of some new designs of lenticular distribution units of axial piston hydraulic machines.
