Binding and Hardening Operations of Loess Collapsing Soils Under the School Reconstruction in the City of Malgobek, the Republic of Ingushetia

This article regards some problems that occured when increasing efficiency of subgrade pile soil for “General Education School #5” in the city of Malgobek, the Republic of Ingushetia. Physical and mechanical properties of the soil were thoroughly examined to modify its structural properties. We have offered a new method to provide safe upkeep of the building in the future and we have calculated compulsory technological and design specifications for the grouting. Besides, we have worked out a project for underpinning and subgarde support. As a result, supporting capacity of the soil base of the building has been significantly increased.
