Abstract
This work presents the results of measurement of model shafts made with cross section form deviations in the form of 13- angularity and saddle in axial section. The parameters and compatibility conditions of the model connection was tested at an experimental workstation. The connection was recreated in the FEM model. The numerical simulation concerned the axisymmetric connection made from a shaft with an applied form deviation and a hub with an ideal hole. Shafts have been modelled for three tolerances: IT4, IT6 and IT9. The results of the simulation tests have been presented in the form of values of local reduced Huber-Mises stresses and contact stresses. The influence of tolerance of element production on compatibility conditions of the connection has been demonstrated.
