Abstract

This paper addresses the engineering design of a test device. The test device is a rack fixture. The rack fixture is designed to test hybrid drive transmission units together with an electric and a hydraulic engine with a total weight of approximately 100 kg. In real life, the hybrid drive transmission unit is joined with a hydraulic engine of a concrete transit mixer. The inclination angle of the clamp plate can be changed and rotated in order to simulate the inclination angle of the concrete transit mixer drum. The rack fixture will be used for testing under laboratory conditions, where a hybrid drive transmission unit can be connected to a measuring device that collects measurement data. Structural finite element analysis of the rack fixture was carried out using ANSYS software in order to verify the stability and suitability of this structure.
