Abstract
We concluded that walking leads to high load magnitudes in the knee and hip, whereas the forces in the vertebral body replacement remained relatively low. This indicates that the first peak force was greater in the hip than in the knee joint while this was reversed for the second peak force. The forces in the spinal implant were considerably lower than in the knee and hip joints.
