Abstract
â¢Alcohol and tobacco use is highly comorbid in young adults.â¢Expectancies of simultaneous alcohol & tobacco use (SATU) have not been studied.â¢The novel SAT-EQ correlated with validated measures of substance use cognitions.â¢Craving/automaticity and social enhancement expectancies were robust predictors of SATU.
