Abstract
â¢The effects of sleep quality on smoking cessation are understudied.â¢This relation was examined in a sample of socioeconomically disadvantaged adults.â¢Poorer pre-quit sleep quality increased the likelihood of post-quit non-abstinence.â¢Sleep quality during the first week post-quit predicted smoking status at 4 weeks.
