Abstract
► We examine the linkages between FDI, informal sector and transfer of EST in a developing economy. ► A three sector full-employment general equilibrium model with an informal sector is considered. ► FDI in the formal sector even with transfer of EST may accentuate pollution. ► We question the desirability of transfer of EST.
