Abstract
⺠This study sought to assess the effect of tariff reforms on customs revenue. ⺠It shows that the reforms have had no impact on equilibrium tax revenue. ⺠In the short run there is a negative association between the reforms and revenue. ⺠Uganda has scope to gain from tariff reform without losing revenue in the long run.
