Abstract
⺠We examine the economic impact of 9/11 security measures at the Canada-US border. ⺠A change of security paradigm toward a North American Security Perimeter is analysed. ⺠Sectoral tariff rates “equivalent” to 9/11 border security measures are computed. ⺠General equilibrium impacts on trade, FDI, and welfare are assessed.
