Abstract
⺠This paper investigates dominance strategies exerted by the dominant manufacturer. ⺠Only the dominant manufacturer can benefit from wholesale price dominance strategy. ⺠Both dominant manufacturer and retailer can benefit from channel dominance strategy. ⺠Channel dominance is not always the optimal choice for the dominant manufacturer. ⺠Whatever dominance strategy is it, the weak manufacturer will suffer loss.
