Abstract
► Hysteresis in unemployment was re-examined using the Stationary test with a Fourier function. ► Conventional unit root tests failed to reject the hysteresis hypothesis. ► Our proposed test confirms that Hysteresis in unemployment holds for most of the countries studied.
