Abstract
⺠We examine the determinants of off-farm labor supply in Bulgaria during its period of transition. ⺠Factors such as farm productivity do not explain the likelihood of off-farm labor supply in that context. ⺠Factors such as the education of household members have a significant impact on this likelihood. ⺠The impact of the factors influencing this likelihood changes with the economic environment.
