Abstract
⺠Estimates welfare effects of time zone differences. ⺠Utilizes a structural trade model for doing so. ⺠Finds that time zones reduce trade significantly and heterogeneously. ⺠Finds that the time-zone effect is about one-sixth of that of borders.
