Abstract
⺠We propose to include a spatial time lag term in the spatial dynamic panel data applications. ⺠We explain why the coefficient of that term could be negative. ⺠The spatial time lag can be caused by partial adjustments in public economics. ⺠It can also be caused by inter-temporal budget constraints in consumer behavior. ⺠Monte Carlo experiments support our argument to include the spatial time lag term in estimation.
