Abstract
► We propose to include a spatial time lag term in the spatial dynamic panel data applications. ► We explain why the coefficient of that term could be negative. ► The spatial time lag can be caused by partial adjustments in public economics. ► It can also be caused by inter-temporal budget constraints in consumer behavior. ► Monte Carlo experiments support our argument to include the spatial time lag term in estimation.
