Abstract
⺠An experiment to find the real demand for climate protection was conducted. ⺠The sample consists of the residential population in Mannheim, Germany. ⺠Participants could purchase European Union Allowances which were then deleted. ⺠Our experiment showed a median willingness to pay (WTP) of zero. ⺠The mean WTP is 12â¬/tCO2.
