Abstract
⺠Relative investment in factor-augmenting knowledge equals relative factor shares. ⺠Links between knowledge stocks are crucial to the long-run evolution of the economy. ⺠These links are too frequently ignored, implicitly assumed to be non-existent. ⺠Substitution between final goods differing in factor intensity is key in the long-run.
