Abstract
► We test the effect of two treatments formerly shown to increase donations. ► Treatments are giving a gift to a potential donor and providing social information. ► Treatments are applied in isolation and combined, to explore interactions. ► When in isolation, we find no significant reciprocity effect. ► In the combined treatment the share of people contributing decreases significantly.
