Abstract
⺠The model yields a concave relationship between labor supply and bequests. ⺠Inheritance has a concave effect on hours worked by British male entrepreneurs. ⺠Receiving inheritance increases the labor supply of unemployed male entrepreneurs. ⺠This effect becomes smaller for higher inheritances, eventually turning negative.
