Abstract
⺠Extends Barro-Gordon model by endowing private agents with inferential expectations. ⺠With time as test statistic, enforceable range of equilibrium inflation rates shrinks. ⺠The higher the significance level α, the larger the enforceable range. ⺠The original Barro-Gordon model obtains as a special case when α=1.
