Abstract
I suggest a concept of convergence stronger than Ï-convergence. This concept, Ï-convergence, is equivalent to β-divergence in reverse time and implies bounds for convergence speed of merely Ï-convergent economies. Empirically, the Ï-concept detects divergence earlier than the Ï- or β-concept.
