Abstract
⺠A new tool for analyzing utility under (non)expected utility is provided. ⺠Modeling ambiguity using utility is shown to be counterintuitive by ignoring events. ⺠Yaari (1969), Kreps and Porteus (1978) and the smooth ambiguity model are generalized.
