Abstract
⺠We analyze how some behaviors, ideas or technologies spread and become persistent in society. ⺠The influence structure is characterized by the correlation between agentsʼ information level and visibility level. ⺠Viral rules are such that a high in- and out-degree correlation helps the diffusion. ⺠Persuasive rules are such that a high in- and out-degree correlation prevents diffusion.
