Abstract
⺠Evolution of depths of reasoning is studied in level-k and fictitious play models. ⺠Everyone acting like highest type is stable iff the game is “type-acyclic”. ⺠Restrictive assumptions needed to ensure convergence to monomorphic states. ⺠Evolution across games is studied. ⺠Partial observability of types is introduced into the level-k model.
