Abstract
⺠We explore how an Australian Aboriginal corporation engages in adaptive governance of their SES. ⺠Tenuous funding and few land rights encourage innovative institution building. ⺠Governance emphasises visionary leadership, reconciliation and partnership development. ⺠Strategies articulate SES aspirations into environment, education and art partnership projects. ⺠Findings speak to resilience and adaptive governance literature and inform Aboriginal practice.
